From parade posters to spooky soirĆ©es — Midnight Boheme brings the spirit of Halloween to life in New Orleans every October.

For more than a decade, Midnight BohemeĀ has joined forces with Brian KernĀ and the Krewe of BOO!Ā to conjure the visual magic behind New Orleans’ Official Halloween ParadeĀ and its entire weekend of wickedly fun festivities.

From branding, logo design, and website creationĀ to marketing campaigns, advertising, and event collateral, Midnight Boheme’s creative touch has helped define the hauntingly vibrant look and feel of this beloved October tradition.

But the magic extends far beyond the parade! Midnight Boheme’s designs have set the stage for every thrilling Krewe of BOO! event — including the Captain’s Party, Monster Mash, Zombie Run, Rock and Rouge, Royal Luncheon, and the Second Line Parade to Pat O’Brien’s. Each piece captures the essence of Halloween in the Crescent City — where imagination meets the macabre, and artistry dances in the moonlight.

As the Krewe of BOO! continues to grow and evolve, Midnight Boheme is proud to remain a creative partner, keeping the spirit alive (and undead) with every design.

"Halloween has always been my favorite time of year — that magical mix of mystery, creativity, and celebration that only New Orleans can do best. Working with Brian KernĀ and the Krewe of BOO!Ā for more than a decade has truly been the highlight of my year, every year. Designing for this incredible event — from the parade branding to the posters, throws, and parties — is a passion project that keeps me inspired all year long.

The Krewe of BOO! isn’t just a parade; it’s a full-scale production that takes a year of planning, late-night design sessions, and creative collaboration to pull off. But when parade night finally arrives, and I climb onto that float — surrounded by friends in elaborate costumes, the music thumping, the crowd cheering — it’s pure magic. You feel like a rock star, tossing beads into the sea of smiling faces and soaking in the energy of Halloween in New Orleans.

From planning the perfect costume to dancing the night away at the afterparty, every moment is a reminder of why I love what I do. The Krewe of BOO! is more than just a parade; it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and the spooky soul of this city I love."
