In 2017, the up and coming Jung Hotel & Residences became a new addition to New Orleans' elite hospitality industry. Hotelier Joe Jaeger has reconstructed the Katrina-damaged building which dates back to 1907 when it first opened its doors. Its revival includes 175 apartments, 145 hotel suites and 50,000 square feet of retail. The new logo design is a modernization of the original architectural logo re-imagined by the team of OPA Graphics and Midnight Boheme.
Opening in December, 2017, The Jung Hotel & Residences quickly became an ongoing client working with Midnight Boheme to produce new banners, invitations, and ads announce the exciting renaissance of a New Orleans icon. Situated in the newly expanded Biodistrict of Downtown New Orleans, The Jung was revitalized after several decades of disrepair and now offers guests a high end experience including the lobby coffee bar, The Daily Grind.
On the windows of The Daily Grind, the newly opened coffee shop that faces historic Canal Street inside The Jung Hotel & Residences, Midnight Boheme handcrafted large scale window clings that are now adhered to the exterior glass and can be seen as you pass along the sidewalk on Canal Street.
