Here in New Orleans,

Jazz music cascades

from Frenchmen to Bourbon

in carnival parades!

Like a big pot of gumbo

Boilin’ hot n’ hearty,

You’ve come to the right city

to celebrate and party!

Grab a beignet and po’boy,

join the second line,

As we wish you “Bon Temps!”

which means have a good time!
